YDIN "Silvottuna ja häpäistynä" Demo CD (2006)

2 years after its first demo, YDIN is back with a new release! I was already impressed with the raw Death Metal played by the band on "Verityöt" (review) but "Silvottuna ja häpästynä" surpass its predecessor! The music is still in the vein of CANNIBAL CORPSE and MORBID ANGEL, but the songs are even more violent and more technical than before! As for the vocalist  (the other strength of YDIN), Punishment alternates Death and Black vocals with success and the Finnish language (all the lyrics are in Finnish) provides a specific touch to the band. Once again, the production of the excellent drummer Loytynöja (INCARNATE, ZOMBIE VOMIT) is very powerful and emphasize each instrument! No need to look for a draughtsman, Ahmis (guitar) is a real artist and made the superbe artwork (like for "Verityöt")! With such a demo, YDIN should easily find a deal and it would be well-deserved! Finnish Death Metal as its best!

P.S. Loyntynöja left the band after the release of this demo. He's replaced by Kuusisalo!
