SUHRIM "Happy Hour" (Shiver records) 2007
The Belgian death metaller veterans are back with their third album. This time they went to Poland in order to record "Happy hour" and the choice turned out excellent! With this production, they choose to emphasize the power and heaviness at the expense of the old school sounding. I liked very much the old school sound of "Cunt collectors" but I have to admit that this production fits very well to Suhrim and provide a touch even more devastating to the band. The listening of this opus is really enjoyable and the use of mid-tempo instead of the abusive fast tempos make the album very catchy! A must in this brutal death metal scene, infested so often by boring releases.
